Gas production in the stomach is a natural part of our digestive system. But today the root cause of about 80 percent of diseases is stomach problem. Gas production in the stomach is not a disease, but there is a problem that arises due to disturbances of the intestines and liver functions along with the stomach.

 Our food is one of the main reasons behind the problem of stomach gas. Every year people waste a lot of money on medicines to get rid of gas disease. But this disease can be avoided with the right routine and proper diet.





Stomach gas is formed when the bacteria in our colon produce yeast in the carbohydrates that our small intestine cannot digest. In this situation, high fiber foods aggravate this problem. Fiber is generally good for health and it is also helpful for the good function of the digestive system and also controls blood sugar and cholesterol but at the same time fiber also makes gas in the stomach.

  • Drink more water after eating
  • Eating and eating excessive ice water directly from the fridge
  • Eat rancid or undercoated
  • Do not chew food properly
  • Liver breakdown due to consumption of excess alcohol.
  • Drink plenty of tea and coffee, fall asleep immediately after a meal or eat late at night

Another reason for gas in the stomach is to not chew food properly, eat highly spicy foods, take more stress and consume market beverages. Apart from this, bacterial infections, digestive system breakdown, inability to digest food and chronic constipation disease also cause gas problems in the stomach.

When the gas starts to build up in the stomach, then the breath smells, the appetite is very low, the moss-like layer on the tongue gets fixed, the stomach becomes swollen and the stomach feels cramped.





  • The contents of the home remedy for many diseases are usually present in every household. Yellow mustard is very beneficial in the treatment of stomach gas. It contains acetic acid, which reduces the acidity of the stomach and quickly removes gas and the pain caused by it. Eating one teaspoon ground yellow mustard powder with lukewarm water every day can relieve gas problem in 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Mixing half a teaspoon asafoetida in a glass of hot water, drinking it removes the problem of stomach gas. Asafoetida acts as an anti-flatulant and prevents the gas-producing bacteria from growing in the stomach.
  • Eating one teaspoon of celery with hot water daily does not cause gas problems. Celery contains a compound called thymol that secretes gastric juice and helps to remove stomach gas.
  • Cinnamon is helpful in preventing gastric acid and pepsin from being over-secreted from the stomach walls. Its use provides instant relief from stomach gas. Mix half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a cup of warm milk and drink it by mixing one teaspoon of honey. The gas problem will go away.
  • Sodium bicarbonate itself is called baking soda and is very effective in removing stomach gas. Mixing lemon in baking soda shows its effect very fast. Squeeze half a cut lemon in a glass of warm water and mix one teaspoon of baking soda in it and take it immediately relieves stomach gas and pain.
  • The enzyme present in apple cider vinegar is very beneficial in reducing alkaline of the body. It is useful in treating indigestion and helps in removing gas. Mix two spoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of hot water and cool it and consume it twice a day. The stomach gas will go away.
  • Essential oil helps to stimulate the salivary glands which helps in digesting food and does not cause gas problems. Cumin contains essential oil which is a home remedy for gas. Boil one teaspoon cumin seeds in two cups of water and after cooling filter it and drink. The gas problem will go away.
  • Boil one spoon ginger paste in one and a half cup of water and filter it after mixing honey and drink it. Apart from this, boil equal quantity of ginger, fennel and cardamom in water and filter it and take it to get rid of stomach gas.

  1. These are really good natural remedies and I definitely try. But for acidity the herbal acidity supplements is also good.
